An amazing garden

The villa is set in the middle of a 2105 m² garden, splitting it in two parts, front and back.

The front garden is the most used, with a 500 m² lawn, two interconnecting ponds, the swimming pool area, a large shade area, parking space, and other plants & trees dedicated spaces.

The back garden is a rocky garden, the ideal place for unusual exotic plants, setting the scene for a retired peacefull retreat.

Should you come along with young children, expect very very lengthy 'Hide & Seek' parties...

Ponds and exotic plants

Two interconnecting ponds with cascading water over 5 meters of rocky steps provide the utmost relaxation experience. By the ponds, you can lay and be transported by the sound of running water, birds and even frogs chanting if you are patient and silent enough.

In spring and summer, the pond lillies florish and the scene becomes full of colors, purple, red, pink and green of course. Red rare fish come to the surface to complete the settings.

The huge garden is littered with exotic and rare plants. 4 meters high cactus, even 5 meters high birds of paradise trees. You will enjoy the most exquisite views and the most delicate fragrances all year round.

The garden is maintained once a week by the property gardener, to ensure you will enjoy it at its best, and there is an automatic irrigation system for your comfort and privacy. Depending on the season, you may have the chance to taste some of the garden\'s own grown fruits.

The villa has natural outdoor extensions on every floor.

Are you an inconditional of the sun? Then look no further, the top floor terrace has East and South exposition, and even features an outside shower for the hottest days out there. And with all neighbour houses far below, you will enjoy total privacy on any outdoor terrace.

For those who prefer the shade, the patio area on the main floor is the place to be. Shade, hot air and gentle wind while you overlook the Bay of Malaga, 85m above sea level. One night out there and the routine of chilling out will kick-in.

More garden pleasures

As with all parts of the property, the lawn is  totally private, and is large enough to entertain badmington, frisbees, or over outdoor activities.

Its orientation is East, but the midday sun is also right on top. By early afternoon, the lawn is in the shade, allowing for more sporty games.

Just next to the lawn, there is a shade area featuring hammocks where youngers and olders will enjoy good time.

For those who like plants, the rocky garden will amaze you with its variety, and for those who appreciate home grown biologic fruits, well they could be just at hand\'s reach.

By the pool

 
 

Heated swimming pool with night lighting

The 10m * 5m pool is situated in the front garden, just next to the villa\'s main entrance. It can be heated, although from May till October, you will certainly not need it. At night, you can enjoy a very enticing  pink and purple in-water pool lighting that will no doubt take you till the midnight bath.

The pool area is delimited by white ballisters overhanging the lawn.

More facilities...

Around the pool on the terrace are six long chairs, two parasols, one dining table in teak, and another accompanying six chairs. There is also a standing shower, just by the pool steps.

A 6 seater Jacuzzi with incorporated Stereo CD player, and lighting is standing just by the right hand side of the pool for further relaxation and pleasure.

A small kitchen as weel as another shower room are just a few meters away for your convenience, minimizing all moves back to the property while life is so enjoyable down by the pool.

At night, the pool area, property staircase, patios, and garden access are all ligthened so you can enjoy longer outdoor nights.

The main kitchen

This kitchen has been designed for a Chef!

If you enjoy cooking, you will find your dream kitchen with all requested appliances.

Depending on the season, you may enjoy the luck of cooking local recipies with fruits collected from the garden, like lemons, oranges, bananas, and various over exotic fruits.

If you do not have the hand and experience of a Chef, you can always contact us prior arrival and we will provide you with the right man*.

The top lounge

The lounge can accomodate easily 16 guests. It has a surface of 60m², and three huge windows facing the Bay of Malaga. By a clear sky in winter, you will see the white summits of the Sierra Nevada. At night, you can enjoy the most wonderfull views of Malaga illuminated.

You will easily find yourself sitting and relaxing there for hours, only staring at the magnificent views.

The lounge also has a dinning space with table and chairs for eight, a 42inch plasma screen with Sky TV, a surround system (5:1), and radio / CD player.

A second lounge allows more privacy, and a small functional kitchen is accessible directly from there.

First master bedroom

In the first master bedroom, you can enjoy a convenient walk in wardrobe which is leading to the ensuite bathroom.

The bed is a super king size (1.80m * 2m) and offers direct view onto a personal plasma screen hanged on the opposite wall, and connected to Sky satellite TV.

As with most bedrooms, this master bedroom enjoys East orientation, thus receiving morning sunshine, and it has private air conditioning.

The second master bedroom also features an ensuite bathroom, built-in wardrobes, private air conditioning & private heating, morning sunshine.

French windows will tempt you out of bed, directly onto the terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast in the sun.

Kids' bedrooms

The first kids room is just next to the second master bedroom. It shares a bathroom, just opposite the corridor, with a second double bedroom. It also features private air conditioning and private heating, morning sunshine, built in wardrobes.

The second kids bedroom is a bit remote from the others. It is a charming unusual room which as been built in the roc, and the back wall is still made of the mountain roc. Teenagers will love this room which has both character and isolation. Views are direct onto the pool with morning sunshine.

Bathrooms

The first bathroom is shared by two bedrooms (bedrooms 3 and 5 below).

As with all the villa\'s bathrooms, it has a powershower enclosed cubicle. Only this one, however, will keep you longer inside as once the built in FM radio switches on, there is a strong tendency that morning showers extend undefinately.

The second bathroom is also shared by two bedrooms (bedrooms 4 and kids bedroom 1).

All four remaining bedrooms are double bedrooms with private air conditioning & private heating.

The second lounge is also spacious (25m²), enjoys the same far reaching views over the Bay of Malaga, and features a corner five seater sofa.

The second kitchen is small (6m²) but functional with own fridge, oven, microwave, etc...

The views...
 

Sea views, mountain views, night views...

From the terrace, there is a 220° panoramic view that spans from the city of Malaga, the Bay, and the beaches.

This is thanks to the property being situated 85m above sea level, but also between 15 and 20m above all neighbouring villas. Hence, there is the ultimate privilege to enjoy superb views and not beeing overlooked at all.

Regularly, one can see cargo ships, ferries, or  cruise liners coming in or departing from Malaga. There is also direct view to the beach which is less than 2km away.

The Sierra Nevada also can be seen by clear weather, which in this region of Spain is most of the time really, and in winter, the white snowy summits are clearly visible, as a reminder that ski resorts are just an hour away by car.

However, it is at night that the views become truely breathtaking. The city and the Bay are completely illuminated. You will feel like being onboard a plane at night above the city. Truely astonishing!

Pathway to the Playamar beach, Torremolinos

This picture was taken in February 2007, and the beach was arguably deserted.

From this spot, you can walk along 7km of sandy beach, with bars and restaurants all along the way.
